Backing up your website is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if your website goes down for any reason at all (not saying it will) then you will always have a backup  that you can instantly restore to another Web Hosting Account and have your website back up in no time.

Step By Step Guide;

Step 1) Login to CPanel, tutorial on that "How To Login To CPanel".

Step 2) Under the “Files” Section you should see a “Backups” icon, click it.

Step 4) Here there will be a list of previously generated backups available for download and also the option to make a new backup. We want to make a full backup of everything so simply scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Generate Backup”, click it.

Step 5) The backup process can take some time if it is a large website it is backing up, you will receive an email when the backup is complete, this is usually pretty quick so let’s check. Click “Go Back”

Step 6) Under “Backups Available for Download” you will see your new backup which should either be ready for download or have the “[in progress]” added to the end. If it is ready for download the file name will be highlighted in blue and be clickable. Click it to download.

Step 7) Store the downloaded backup in a safe place in case you needed it one day.
